Menopause and fish oil

Fish oil supplementation reduces frequency and intensity of hot flashes in menopausal women. Here I am listing a study that supports what has been long stated in the natural healing arenas.  A recent study concluded that supplementing menopausal women with ethyl-eicosapentaenoic acid (E-EPA) omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil was significantly beneficial, with benefits being seen with improved Menopause-Specific Quality of Life Scores, reduced hot flash frequency, and improved hot flash (severity/intensity) scores.
